12 Taliban terrorists killed in Ghazni province of Afghanistan

12 Taliban terrorists have been killed during an operation by Afghan National Defence and Security Forces (ANDSF), the Ministry of Defence of Afghanistan announced on its official Twitter account. Eight other Taliban members were wounded as a result of the operation that took place in Qarabagh district of Ghazni province.

According to some reports, Hafiz Ahmadullah, the younger brother of Afghan Taliban leader Haibatullah Akhundzada was killed earlier today in Quetta. A blast occured at a mosque in Kuchlak area near the capital of Balochistan which killed around five people including Hafiz Ahmadullah.

In a separate incident, at least five security personnel were killed during a clash with the Taliban in Faryab province of Afghanistan earlier today. Seven other security personnel were also wounded as a result of the clash that occured in Qaisar district of Faryab province.

Yesterday, Taliban chief of terror operations Mawlavi Qudratullah was killed during an operation by ANDSF in Patkhab Village located in the provincial capital of Logar. Mawlavi Qudratullah was mainly involved in terrorist-related activities on Highway No. 2 of Logar besides having a major role in overall terrorist-related activities across Logar.
