Pakistan to open Kartarpur Corridor despite rising tensions over Kashmir

Pakistan's Foreign Office has announced that Pakistan is committed to open the Kartarpur Corridor despite rising tensions over Kashmir, according to news agency ANI. The corridor will be opened in November on 550th birth anniversary of Baba Gurunanak.

The country is sticking with its plan to open first visa-free border crossing with India to facilitate Sikh pilgrims despite brewing tensions between the two neighbors over Kashmir.
