37 Taliban terrorists killed, several injured in different parts of Afghanistan

A total of 37 Taliban terrorists have been killed by Afghan security forces in different parts of Afghanistan, according to the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Afghanistan. At the same time, several Taliban members were injured and around seven were arrested as a result of the clash with the Afghan National Police (AFNP) and of operations carried by Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF).
According to a statement by the Ministry, nine Taliban terrorists were killed in an overnight operation carried out by the General Command of Police Special Units (GCPSU) in the Gardiz City of Paktiya. GCPSU seized 3 AK-47 rifles, five mobile phones, one laptop computer and some amount of military equipment.
15 Taliban terrorists were killed and 23 others were injured during a joint clearance operation carried out by ANDSF in Ashkmash District of Takhar. Haji Sattar, a key local commander of Taliban terrorists was among those killed and several villages of the Ashkmash were cleared of terrorists, the Ministry said.
The Ministry also added that five Taliban terrorists were killed and eight others were injured in an overnight clash with ANP in Ghazi Abad region, Khogyani District of Nangarhar.
In a separate incident, five Taliban terrorists were killed and another was arrested following a clash with ANP in Gul Dara village, Pashtun Kot District of Faryab. ANP seized three rifles, one motorcycle and some amount of military equipment from the scene.
Meanwhile, three Taliban terrorists were killed and six others were arrested during ANDSF joint clearance operation in Babi region, Braki Barak District of Logar. Babu, a senior commander of Taliban terrorists was among those killed.
