The Denver Broncos saw a pair of starters go down with injuries Monday morning, and one of them has the team more concerned than the other.

Linebacker Brandon Marshall walked off the field with trainers after suffering a wrist injury. He did not return to practice, but head coach Vance Joseph called the injury minor and told reporters, "He'll be all right."

Of greater concern is starting left tackle, Garett Bolles. The 2017 first-round pick "took a shot to the chin," Joseph said and was carted off the practice field. Joseph added Bolles is being evaluated for a head injury.

If Bolles is determined to have sustained a concussion, the league's concussion protocol means he will likely miss several days of practice. On Sunday, wide receiver Corey "Philly" Brown went into the concussion protocol after injuring his head in the weight room.

"It takes some time for those things to clear so we'll see where he's at," Joseph said Monday. "It was an accident in the weight room and it was simple as that."

Though Bolles started all 16 games as a rookie last season and was second on the team in snaps played at 1,106, he was called for a team-high 15 penalties, gave up 8.5 sacks and battled through an ankle injury for a good portion of the season.
