Surat sees 218 new COVID-19 cases, 234 recover, 2 deaths

A total of 218 people testedpositive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Surat, takingthe district's caseload to 35,694, while two deaths increasedthe toll to 1,015, an official said on Friday

Surat city accounted for 165 of the new cases

The official said 234 people were discharged duringthe day.
