Coinbase revenue declines from previous quarter as trading volumes remain muted

Coinbase Global on Thursday posted a 5% drop in third-quarter revenue compared to the previous quarter as the cryptocurrency exchange remained under pressure due to muted trading activity.

Total revenue was $674.1 million in the three months ended Sept 30, compared with $590.3 million in the year-ago quarter.
