Reckitt and Jagran Pehel Launch Dettol School Hygiene Programme in Delhi
Reckitt has launched the Dettol School Hygiene Education Programme in Delhi in collaboration with Jagran Pehel. The initiative, aiming to reach 4.5 million beneficiaries, addresses poor hand hygiene's public health impact by promoting good practices in schools. The programme includes practical sessions and hygiene corners to educate school children.
Reckitt, a global leader in health and hygiene, has introduced the Dettol School Hygiene Education Programme in Delhi as part of its Dettol Banega Swasth India campaign. Partnering with Jagran Pehel and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, the initiative aims to improve hygiene practices in MCD schools, targeting 4.5 million beneficiaries.
Launched by campaign ambassador Ayushmann Khurrana, the programme focuses on educating teachers and students through practical sessions and awareness activities. Hygiene corners equipped with Dettol products will be set up in schools to reinforce the importance of handwashing.
Recognizing poor hand hygiene's impact on public health, especially among vulnerable children, the programme seeks to reduce Diarrhoeal diseases and increase school attendance by promoting better hygiene practices. Reckitt's commitment underscores its mission to foster a cleaner and healthier world.
