In a startling incident, around 50 people, including women and children, were hospitalized due to suspected food poisoning after consuming buckwheat flour fritters during Janmashtami celebrations. The event unfolded on the night between Monday and Tuesday, officials reported.

Victims, including a teenager named Priyanka, reported experiencing severe symptoms like vomiting and burning sensations in the stomach. Parkham Singh, a local resident, confirmed that the fritters were made from kuttu ka atta, purchased from a village shop, and described widespread complaints of dizziness, vomiting, and shivering among affected individuals.

According to Mahesh, another resident, his wife has become extraordinarily weak and nearly unconscious. A doctor at the government hospital disclosed that 29 patients were admitted around 1 am, all showing significant improvement and stable conditions after receiving treatment.
