The Union Ministry of Women and Child Development has announced that 1.37 crore activities have been conducted across 752 districts in 35 states and Union territories by the sixth day of Rashtriya Poshan Maah.

Key contributors to this campaign are states including Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. The campaign, launched on August 31 at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, focuses on anaemia prevention, growth monitoring, and the ''Poshan Bhi Padhai Bhi'' initiative, which integrates education with nutrition.

In addition to promoting nutrition, the campaign also emphasizes environmental sustainability through the ''Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam'' initiative, planting trees at over 13.95 lakh Anganwadi centres. The Poshan Tracker app plays a crucial role in monitoring activities, contributing to the successful implementation and tracking of the programs. Notably, the Union Ministry of Education has been a major contributor with 1.38 lakh activities.
