Mysterious Deaths in Jammu & Kashmir: Villagers Return Home Amid Ongoing Investigations

In a perplexing development in Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir, 350 individuals from 70 families returned home on Thursday after being relocated last month due to mysterious deaths in their village.
The deaths, involving 17 individuals including 13 children in Badhaal village of Kotranka Sub-division, remain unexplained despite expert inquiries suspecting neurotoxins in the food chain.
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, noted that thorough monitoring continues. Meanwhile, over 30 persons remain under medical observation, and pesticide shops across the district are shut as a precaution.
