On February 27, 2025, Medtronic and Philips signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Gurgaon, India. This alliance aims to train more than 300 cardiologists and radiologists on advanced imaging techniques for structural heart diseases.
The initiative focuses on multi-modality imaging like echocardiography and MRI, particularly benefiting End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) patients. Training will be conducted through both didactic sessions and hands-on experience, utilizing Philips' state-of-the-art ultrasound and MRI systems under expert supervision.
