ICICI Foundation, the corporate social responsibility branch of ICICI Bank, has announced a strategic partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur to create a Digital Health Stack aimed at strengthening India's public healthcare infrastructure.
The foundation has committed an investment of Rs 34 crore to support this initiative, which intends to harness technology, medical research, and innovation to deliver efficient healthcare services, particularly in Uttar Pradesh.
A significant achievement of the project is the development of the Real Time Bed Availability and Referral Portal (RT-BARP), which was successfully deployed during the Maha Kumbh 2025, enhancing medical responsiveness at the event. This collaboration aims to address healthcare challenges by leveraging digital tools and systems.
