Minister Manohar emphasized the significance of vigilance among consumers, urging people to be cautious while dining out. He revealed that a cabinet subcommittee had reviewed the concerning issue, leading to directives for decisive action against food vendors responsible for quality breaches.
Recent inspections in Visakhapatnam uncovered alarming deficiencies, with 44 out of 51 restaurants found in violation of set norms. Authorities have gathered strong evidence to pursue immediate legal action to curb these infringements and protect consumers from potential health risks.
