Zydus Lifesciences has announced a collaboration with SIG, a renowned packaging solutions provider, to introduce a novel packaging format for its Deriphyllin CoughGo medication. The new single-serve spouted pouches will deliver the liquid cough and cold remedy.

These spouted pouches offer several benefits, including the ability to dispense precise doses, enhanced hygiene, and a reduction in product waste. This innovative packaging solution is designed to improve consumer convenience and satisfaction.

Sharvil P Patel, Managing Director of Zydus Lifesciences, explained that the initiative is part of the company's commitment to patient-centric approaches, aiming to make medications more accessible and user-friendly. The pouches, also known as siplets, are available in 5 ml and 10 ml portions for ready consumption.
