The Uttar Pradesh government has embarked on an ambitious plan to enhance healthcare services statewide, aiming for every citizen to access advanced medical facilities by 2047, said Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak on Monday.

Currently, the state boasts over 25,000 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, 3,500+ primary health centres, specialized hospitals, and medical colleges actively serving its populace. Notably, emergency response times for ambulances have been significantly improved, Pathak highlighted during the 'Viksit UP Conclave', attended by key stakeholders including NITI Aayog experts and industry representatives.

Pathak and Minister of State Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh underscored the health sector's pivotal role in not only transforming Uttar Pradesh but also supporting India's broader development. With ongoing efforts to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates and extend health services to rural districts, the state is poised to lead a health revolution by 2047.
