A shocking incident of alleged sexual assault has come to light at a district women's hospital, involving a hospital employee who reportedly committed the crime under the guise of conducting an ultrasound test.
The victim, a resident of Gulriha, visited the women's hospital for a routine ultrasound. She alleged that the accused, Abhimanyu Gupta, insisted she disrobe completely, claiming it was necessary for the test and a subsequent massage. She further stated that Gupta then attempted to assault her, threatening her life if she resisted.
Hospital authorities have taken the matter seriously, initiating a three-member inquiry committee to investigate the claims. The police have registered a case and are aggressively pursuing Gupta. Officials assure stringent action will follow if the allegations are confirmed.
