Nagaland's health department has taken a significant step forward by signing an MoU with HLL Lifecare Ltd. The collaboration aims to introduce affordable medicines and reliable implants across the state.
This agreement includes the formation of a central warehouse at the Family Welfare Training Institute in Chümoukedima and the establishment of Citizen Welfare Pharmacies in hospitals. These facilities will ensure the consistent supply of high-quality medicines, surgical items, and other medical supplies, particularly targeting the treatment of cancer and cardiovascular diseases at reduced costs.
The partnership is expected to dramatically improve healthcare delivery in Nagaland by making essential medical supplies accessible and affordable for the general population, ultimately enhancing the state's healthcare infrastructure.
