Amid concerns over Nipah virus cases in West Bengal, health officials reported an encouraging update. One of the affected nurses is recovering, bringing a glimmer of hope amid the health scare.
However, the condition of the second nurse, a female patient, remains critical. Both patients are being treated in the Intensive Coronary Care Unit (ICCU) as medical staff work tirelessly to stabilize her condition.
Reassuringly, none among those who were in close contact with the patients, including healthcare workers, have tested positive yet. Vigilant monitoring and isolation measures are in place to prevent further spread of the virus.
