Girl Brave in Stray Dog Encounter

In a harrowing incident that has raised concerns about stray animals, a 12-year-old girl named Jyoti was seriously injured by a pack of stray dogs in Mohammadpur Khala. The attack occurred on Wednesday in Bakhariya Tola locality when she was going to fetch milk.
The attack left Jyoti with severe injuries to her hands, legs, and back. Hearing her screams, local residents rushed to the scene, using sticks and stones to chase the dogs away. Despite their quick response, Jyoti had already suffered heavy bleeding.
She was first taken to the Fatehpur Community Health Centre, but due to the severity of her condition, doctors referred her to Lucknow Medical College. In response to the attack, Sub-divisional Magistrate Kartikeya Singh has instructed local municipal bodies to take measures to capture stray dogs and prevent future incidents.
