Earlier that day, Mann, accompanied by AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal, visited Shri Rankeshwar Mahadev Shiv Mandir in Sangrur district to mark Mahashivratri. Mann's scheduled activities in Fazilka were subsequently cancelled.
In the previous September, Mann was hospitalized due to exhaustion and a low heart rate. He had also been treated for a bacterial infection at the same medical facility prior to that incident.
