Goa's Holistic Health Revolution: Ayurveda Initiative Launched
The Goa government has launched a healthcare initiative, 'Health with Ayurveda, Checked By Doctor 2.0', aimed at boosting preventive healthcare using Ayurveda. It involves statewide camps for Ayurvedic health check-ups and distribution of free medicine, promoting traditional treatment methods to manage lifestyle disorders.

Goa's Chief Minister Pramod Sawant recently launched a transformative healthcare program titled 'Health with Ayurveda, Checked By Doctor 2.0'. This initiative is set to enhance preventive healthcare by leveraging traditional Ayurvedic practices. The inauguration took place at the Goa College of Ayurveda and Yogic Sciences in Harvalem with Health Minister Vishwajit Rane present.
The program will see the organization of multi-speciality Ayurvedic health check-up camps throughout Goa's 40 constituencies. These camps, set to run over the next 40 days, aim at promoting awareness about Ayurveda and its role in preventive healthcare. The government is committed to offering accessible and holistic healthcare services to its citizens.
Deputy Director Dr. Minal Joshi highlighted the camps' success, with the Shakre location already witnessing over 1,000 attendees. Free Ayurvedic medicines are being distributed, focusing on managing lifestyle disorders such as diabetes and hypertension. Citizens are encouraged to attend these screenings for improved health outcomes.
