Mahaling said the ''24x7 telemedicine facility'' is a meaningful step toward improving healthcare access for communities in Kalahandi, especially in remote tribal and rural areas. The facility has been set up at Vedanta Lanjigarh Hospital in the district. It is expected to benefit ''more than 70,000 people across nearly 70 remote villages in Kalahandi and adjoining regions'', the company said in a statement.
