In response to increasing cases of infectious diseases, Kerala has initiated a comprehensive inspection of eateries across the state. The move aims to uphold hygiene standards in dining establishments, as declared by Health Minister K Muraleedharan on Thursday.
The Health Minister stated that the Food Safety Department has been instructed to conduct surprise checks at various eateries. These checks are critical to ensuring compliance with food safety norms. Establishments found in violation could face license cancellations, emphasizing the government's stringent stance on public health and safety.
