In Uttarakhand, two pilgrims have died due to health complications amidst their sacred journeys. The first incident involved a 61-year-old man from Madhya Pradesh, who succumbed to illness while visiting Yamunotri Dham. His condition worsened suddenly at Jankichatti, despite being quickly rushed to a nearby Primary Health Centre.
Meanwhile, a 76-year-old man from Gujarat suffered a fatal heart attack while returning from the Adi Kailash pilgrimage. His death, following the collapse at Nabi camp, underscores the third such incident on this route since the pilgrimage began on May 1. Medical officials attribute these difficulties to unusually cold weather impacting travelers' health.
