Too soon to close Polish borders, postpone elections over coronavirus - PM aide

It is too early to close borders and postpone presidential elections set for May over the coronavirus, the Polish Prime Minister's Chief of Staff Michal Dworczyk said on Thursday.

Dworczyk made the statement to media after a meeting involving the heads of Poland's parliamentary parties and soon after the first death from coronavirus was announced in Poland.

49 people in total have tested positive for the coronavirus in Poland, a country of 38 million.
