China to speed up infrastructure construction, says cabinet

China will speed up construction of new infrastructure including information networks，state television reported on Tuesday quoting a cabinet meeting chaired by Premier Li Keqiang.

The government will upgrade the information industry to meet huge domestic demand, it added.
