India has expressed strong condemnation over the recent vandalisation of a Hindu temple in Edmonton, according to Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal. The MEA has engaged Canadian authorities in both Delhi and Ottawa, pressing for immediate action against the perpetrators.

Speaking at a weekly media briefing, Jaiswal stated, "We condemn the vandalization and expect local authorities to take swift and strong action against those responsible." The BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir incident has reignited concerns about recurring attacks on temples, further emboldened by a perceived lack of action.

Canada's Member of Parliament for Nepean, Chandra Arya, also expressed deep concern over the increasing violence directed at Hindu-Canadian communities. Arya cited the ongoing impunity of radical elements and called for stronger actions from Canadian law enforcement to prevent the escalation of hate-fueled crimes. Canada's Randy Boissonnault echoed these sentiments, stating that hate has no place in the nation.
