Vietnam PM Praises India’s Global Role, Highlights Shared Strategic Vision

Vietnam Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh commended India's global strategy and its significant role during the COVID-19 pandemic, during a speech at Hyderabad House on Thursday. Chinh praised India's forward-looking approach and strategic vision, highlighting the dramatic global changes in the digital and green economy.

Speaking on the advancements in artificial intelligence and cloud computing, Chinh noted the fundamental shift in global production and human behavior. He emphasized the importance of digital transformation, circular economy, and climate action, while acknowledging India’s crucial contribution with four COVID-19 vaccines that benefited Vietnam.

Chinh underscored the fierce security challenges in the Asia Indo-Pacific region, calling for international solidarity and multilateralism to address these issues comprehensively. He expressed gratitude to PM Modi for the solidarity shown during the passing of Vietnam's General Secretary Nguyen Fuchsiang, and reiterated the enduring bond of friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and India.
