An armed clash between two groups over a land dispute resulted in the deaths of five people in Pakistan's Sukkur city, according to ARY News. Authorities reported that the long-standing rivalry between the groups led to an eruption of gunfire.

Four individuals from one group were killed, with three dying on the spot and one succumbing to injuries during treatment. Another person from the opposing group also died in the clash. The same dispute had previously claimed three lives, and investigations are ongoing as the bodies were sent for further examination.

In a separate incident, five more people were killed in Lower Orakzai Tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's district due to another land dispute. Additionally, a man in Punjab shot his sister after she failed an exam, and a stepson murdered his two stepbrothers over a matrimonial dispute. Authorities are conducting search operations and registering cases against the suspects.
