UAE President Champions National Talent in Industrial Sector
President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the UAE met with a delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology to discuss the 'Industrialists Programme.' The initiative aims to empower Emiratis for roles in the industrial sector, supporting the country's vision for economic development.

In a significant move to bolster national talent, President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed a delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology on August 14. The meeting also saw participation from Emiratis in the industrial sector, along with representatives of the 'Industrialists Programme,' an initiative focused on job creation.
The programme is part of the Ministry's broader strategy, including initiatives like the 'National In-Country Value (ICV) Programme' and 'Make it in the Emirates.' Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, accompanied the delegation. They briefed the President on ongoing efforts to empower Emiratis for roles in the industrial sector.
President Sheikh Mohamed highlighted the importance of skilled national talent in strengthening the industrial sector, a key pillar of the UAE's economy. He urged the youth to seize opportunities in this promising field and actively participate in national development. The Industrialists Programme has successfully created more than 1,400 specialized jobs by mid-2023 and aims for 2,000 by the end of 2024.
