Abu Dhabi Judicial Department Secures Historic Forensic Accreditation

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department's Forensic and Electronic Sciences Centre obtains the National Organisation of Forensic Physicians' international accreditation, making it the Middle East's first and world's third center outside the US to receive this honor, signifying a major accomplishment in forensic medicine and criminal justice.

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department's Forensic and Electronic Sciences Centre has achieved a significant milestone by obtaining the international accreditation certificate from the National Organisation of Forensic Physicians (NAME) for its Forensic Medicine Department.

This distinction makes the Centre not only the first in the Middle East to receive such accreditation but also places it among the top three in the world outside the United States, following only Canada and Singapore.

Counsellor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, highlighted that this accreditation aligns with the UAE's vision of developing an advanced judicial system. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the highest international standards and leading the region in forensic medicine services, thereby enhancing the global competitiveness of Abu Dhabi.
