Abu Dhabi, UAE – October 29: Under the esteemed support of Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week launched with the objective of revolutionizing the field of early childhood development (ECD). This event brings together over 90 prominent researchers from the UAE, Arab region, and Africa to address pressing challenges and explore new opportunities in ECD research.
Sana Mohammad Suhail, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA), emphasized Abu Dhabi's commitment to nurturing children's growth through innovative strategies. Acknowledging the obstacles faced in the region, Suhail remarked on the essential role of research as a driving force for development. The ECA aims to foster global collaboration to reshape childhood development trends, offering children a better start in life.
The event also featured ECD Innovation Day, where experts discussed emerging technologies such as AI and virtual reality in education and healthcare. Yousef Alhammadi, Executive Director of Knowledge and Impact at ECA, highlighted the importance of Abu Dhabi as a hub for nurturing innovative solutions to community needs. The launch of three new ECD reports marks a step towards creating sustainable future frameworks for children's welfare in the global landscape.
