Governor Yuriko Koike has reasserted Tokyo's dedication to leading the smart city domain, a point highlighted during a recent pre-event announcement.
This edition will spotlight transformative technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, and advancements in Food Tech that are poised to redefine urban living standards.
The conference attracts a formidable gathering of global experts who will examine AI's role in revolutionizing city life through innovations like autonomous vehicles and robotics. In parallel, Quantum Computing is touted for its potential to redefine technological capacities, while Food Tech innovations aim to tackle global food issues.
A hallmark of the event is the emphasis on startup cultivation and collaboration through initiatives like the Itamar Project, aimed at equipping students with crucial skills by involving them in event organization. This year's SusHi Tech will feature around 40 major corporate exhibitors, up from the previous event's 29, and will host 14 international pavilions showcasing diverse technological advancements.

Expectations are high with 500 startups partaking in the exhibition, 5,000 business meetings planned, and over 50,000 attendees anticipated.
