Grizzlies sign Caboclo to 10-day contract

The Memphis Grizzlies signed forward Bruno Caboclo to a 10-day contract to help bolster a lineup beset by injuries. The club announced the move Thursday.

The 6-foot-9 Caboclo is a call-up from the NBA's G League Rio Grande Valley, an affiliate of the Houston Rockets, where he was averaging 16.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game in 28 games. Caboclo was taken 20th overall by Toronto in the 2014 NBA Draft and has played just 35 games in the NBA with the Raptors and Sacramento.

Injuries to Dillon Brooks and Kyle Anderson have thinned out a Grizzlies' roster that was already without Joakim Noah and Chandler Parsons. --Field Level Media
