Yotes' Ekman-Larsson (lower body) day to day

Arizona Coyotes defenseman and captain Oliver Ekman-Larsson is day to day with a lower-body injury and will be re-evaluated after the All-Star break, the team announced Thursday. According to 98.7 FM Arizona's Sports Station, Ekman-Larsson suffered a slight tear in his meniscus during Tuesday's night's 3-2 Coyotes win over the Ottawa Senators and will likely miss three weeks.

The 27-year-old Swede sat out Wednesday's game at Montreal, after it was reported by multiple news outlets he would undergo an MRI on Thursday morning. This offseason, Ekman-Larsson signed an eight-year extension with Arizona worth a reported $8.25 million per season. In 49 games this season, he has scored six goals with 20 assists.
