India-Denmark: A Partnership for Health Innovation and Green Leadership

Danish Ambassador Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen has identified healthcare as a key area for enhanced cooperation between India and Denmark, asserting that Denmark's expertise and renowned companies could significantly support India's burgeoning sectoral needs.
Speaking at the FITT FORWARD 2025 Tech showcase at IIT Delhi, Kristensen lauded India's entrepreneurial drive and its effective translation of research into startups. He emphasized Denmark's potential contribution in healthcare, marking it as a ripe domain for strengthened partnership to address India's expanding healthcare challenges.
The ambassador also highlighted Denmark's leadership in the green transition, suggesting it could align with India's large-scale ambitions. He noted Denmark's proficiency in integrating renewable energy and mentioned their potential to assist India in enhancing solar energy integration efficiently.
Kristensen pointed out that the bilateral relationship is already evolving beyond trade, with over 220 Danish companies operating in India, fostering innovation and research collaboration. As evidence of this thriving cooperation, the upcoming India-Nordic Startup Summit in Copenhagen will spotlight Danish-Indian business partnerships.
He concluded by asserting the partnership's ability to offer global solutions, underlining a strong commitment from Danish businesses to deepen ties with India.
