Blackhawks activate Forsling off injured reserve

Defenseman Gustav Forsling has been activated off injured reserve, the Chicago Blackhawks announced Friday. Forsling is expected to play Friday night after missing eight games with an upper-torso injury. The 22-year-old Forsling has played in 19 games for the Blackhawks this season, recording six points on two goals and four assists.

The Blackhawks travel to Buffalo on Friday to face the Sabres in the first of two meetings between the teams. They will meet again March 7 in Chicago. --Field Level Media
