Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Thursday criticised the United Nations for not taking "tangible" measures in Syria to restore peace and security. "The summit in Sochi was very useful and constructive for restoring peace and security in Syria, the region and in the world ... Syrians, including its Kurds, should decide about the future of Syria ... Which needs long-term peace," Rouhani said.
