A covert military operation conducted under the cover of darkness in Winder, located in the Lasbela district of Balochistan, has ignited fresh accusations against Pakistani security agencies involving enforced disappearances and human rights violations.

The Balochistan Post reports that personnel from the Pakistani forces and the Counter Terrorism Department carried out forceful, invasive house raids, leading to the detention of several civilians. Among them are Naveed Ahmed, the son of Abdul Qayyum Zehri, and two minors aged 16 and 15, whose whereabouts remain unknown, following allegations of intimidation and violence by the authorities.

Eyewitnesses recounted that homes were damaged and valuables confiscated during the operation, perceived by locals as an attack under the guise of counterterrorism operations. Families, having endured previous detentions and even fatalities, continue to plead for transparency and information. Despite the gravity of the situation, Pakistani authorities have yet to issue an official statement.
