In an exclusive interview with CBS, US Vice President JD Vance elucidated the intricate dynamics between the United States and Israel, revealing occasional divergences in national interests, particularly amidst the ongoing conflict in West Asia. Despite the historically robust alliance, Vance underscored that the countries' interests may not always align perfectly.

Vance acknowledged the steadfast relationship between US President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu but noted that the US must place its national interests at the forefront. 'While the two nations share close ties, there are moments when our paths do not fully align,' Vance stated during the interview scheduled to air on 'CBS Sunday Morning.'

While recognizing Netanyahu as a leader asserting his country's interests with vigor, Vance stressed that President Trump is committed to what benefits America the most. 'This sometimes results in concordance or discordance, and in such instances, America must prioritize its people,' he reaffirmed, admitting some past lapses on Netanyahu's part while maintaining discretion on specific details.
