The United States Air Force General Dale White has underscored the pivotal role of the B-21 Raider, Sentinel ICBM program, and the forthcoming F-47 fighter jet as essential military assets for national security in a crisis. Addressing the Raider Combined Test Force at Edwards Air Force Base on June 8, General White labeled these programs as critical for the future of the nation.

His remarks coincided with the Air Force achieving a notable landmark in the B-21 Raider program, wherein a test flight was conducted by both an operational and developmental pilot. This progression marks a strategic shift towards integrating testing and is expected to expedite the bomber's service readiness, as outlined by White, heralding a smarter and swift acquisition mindset within the force.

Highlighting further developments, General White mentioned that the Sentinel project aims to modernize the Minuteman III ICBM, forming the ground leg of America’s nuclear defense, while the F-47 aircraft, a product of the Next Generation Air Dominance program, is set to maintain US air superiority. White emphasized the need to remove bureaucratic hurdles to accelerate these programs, stressing the importance of urgency driven by meaningful purpose.
