In a ceremony held at the City Council Hall in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, Jain spiritual leader Acharya Lokesh received an official commendation for his tireless efforts to cultivate global peace and interfaith harmony. Mayor Laura Pfrommer recognized the influential 'We Support Peace' campaign, initiated by Acharya Lokesh, which fosters dialogue and non-violence across nations.

During the event, Mayor Pfrommer praised the campaign's expansion to the United States, stating it inspires individuals to contribute to a war-free world. She lauded Acharya Lokesh as a champion of peace, harmony, and universal brotherhood. Basant Gupta, representing the Atlantic County Cultural and Heritage Board, also attended the ceremony.

Acharya Lokesh, founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and the World Peace Center in New Delhi, invoked the ancient Indian principle of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,' meaning 'The World is One Family.' He articulated his mission as not solely personal but reflective of a broader civilizational ethos. He condemned war and violence, labeling them as detrimental cycles that inflict lasting global suffering, and highlighted the campaign's reliance on moral persuasion over political pressure to promote enduring economic, social, and spiritual development.
