US extends Russia-related general license on diamond imports

​The ‌United States ​on Wednesday ‌extended a Russia-related general license authorizing transactions ‌related to ‌imports of certain diamonds ⁠for ​another year, ⁠despite U.S. sanctions ⁠on Moscow.

The license, ​which was due ⁠to expire ⁠September ​1, was extended to September ⁠1, 2027.
