China to monitor US tariff measures, reserves right to act, commerce ministry says

​China ‌will continue ​to monitor and ‌assess U.S. moves, the commerce ministry said ‌on Thursday, when ‌asked about Washington weighing an additional ⁠7.5% ​tariff on ⁠Chinese goods over ⁠allegations of excess ​manufacturing capacity.

China reserves the right ⁠to take ⁠all ​necessary measures, Huang Ling, a ⁠spokesperson for the ministry, ⁠told ⁠a press briefing.
