Erdogan says mechanism needed for Black Sea safety before grain crisis escalates
Turkey's President Tayyip Erdogan said a mechanism is needed that would permanently ensure safety of commercial maritime transport in the Black Sea before a grain crisis escalates.
In remarks to journalists on his return flight from a trip to Kyrgyzstan, Erdogan said a grain crisis had resurfaced particularly in Africa and action needs to be taken before the problem escalates further.
