Soccer-Parma appoint former striker Gilardino as manager

Parma have appointed their ​former player Alberto Gilardino ​as manager, the Serie ‌A ​side said on Tuesday, with the 44-year-old replacing Carlos Cuesta who parted ‌ways with the club on Sunday.
