EU ready to take measures to enable ICC to work after US sanctions

​The ‌European Union is ​ready to take ‌any necessary measures to enable the International Criminal ‌Court (ICC) to carry ‌out its work even after the ⁠US imposes ​sanctions, ⁠the European Commission said ⁠in a statement on Friday.

The ​Commission said it ⁠still saw room for ⁠dialogue, ​however, since there is a ⁠six-month delay before the ⁠sanctions ⁠are applied.
