A ​strong ‌earthquake was felt in the Panamanian ‌capital of Panama ‌City, according to ⁠a Reuters ​witnesses.

The ⁠US Geological Survey ⁠recorded the ​earthquake at magnitude 8.0 ⁠and said ⁠struck ​along the southern ⁠coast of ⁠the country.
