Chile's Codelco calls shareholders' meeting to discuss over-inflated output

​Chile's ​state-run ‌copper miner Codelco ​said on ‌Wednesday it has called a shareholders' meeting for ‌November 5 to ‌discuss its over-reported production figures for 2024 ⁠and ​2025.

During ⁠the meeting, Codelco's ⁠board will discuss ​recent press accounts of the ⁠matter, outline measures ⁠taken ​to protect company interests and ⁠review potential legal, ⁠regulatory and financial ⁠risks.
