Death in Shamonda human case due to person's illness, official says

PARIS, Oct ​22 (Reucters) - ​The ‌death of a ​person infected by ‌the Shamonda virus was an exceptional event ‌that can be explained ‌by the patient's very poor health, ⁠a ​French ⁠health ministry said on Thursday.

The ⁠circumstances of the case ​meant that there ⁠was no reason to talk ⁠of ​a health crisis, the ⁠official told reporters.
